Readings for Theory Night

UPDATE FROM LIVRA: The letters do not need to be read to completion. They give a chronological sense of the relationship but reading a handful of the letters gives a good sense of the relationship.

The Notebooks served as Camus’ scrapbook of ideas. Sometimes there are complete passages with dates, often though the dates blend in together and don’t read well chronologically. Many entries go on for months with no direct reference to the date.

Focus on the circled sections they give a good sense of general ideas and beliefs he may have ( sometimes just a sentence) found on the excerpted pages. No need to read the pdf page to page.
